Training and Teaching
ADK&A offers training seminars to real estate professionals. We focus on teaching the financial analysis of various real estate products, tailoring the training to the specific needs of the audience.
Our real estate development training encompasses site selection, market assessment and financial feasibility analysis. We offer courses at several levels, focusing on how to analyze development pro formas using computer models to demonstrate the impact of varying assumptions on financial results.
In addition to Allan Kotin’s regular graduate student teaching at the University of Southern California and Harvard University, ADK&A offers special sessions, workshops, and Webinars.
Selected Teaching Engagements and Seminars
- Allan D. Kotin is currently an Adjunct Professor, University of Southern California (USC), School of Policy, Planning, and Development (PPD), where he teaches courses on real estate approvals, finance, and public private joint ventures and deal making. He is also a regular lecturer at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design (GSD).
- ADK&A has led numerous seminars and workshops for the California Redevelopment Association (CRA), the Urban Land Institute (ULI), and the National Council for Urban Economic Development (CUED)
